Acting President should
have to assert executive powers more so as the Constitution recognizes him as
President at this time; hence the Constitution enjoins the smooth running
of the regime, at least two Northern States with lost cabinet seats, should
have their representatives as cabinet Ministers. As acting President, his
ministerial nominees (NORTH) once received by Nigeria’s parliament will slate
confirmation hearing and if confirmed, both sworn-in by him.
