FMR AGF ADOKE OFFERED CHIEF JUSTICE OF GAMBIA.....

President Barrow of Gambia has slightly ‘edited’ his predecessor’s naming of their country. That was where former AGF Adoke wanted Justice Mariam Aloma Mukhtar to be sent as the Chief Justice of the Islamic Republic of Gambia (as it then) was under President Jammeh but  she politely turned it down. After her Lordship’s appointment as CJN, watch to see AGF Adoke’s hypocrisy  by showing 2-Face  get what am saying …. the first female CJN suddenly became heroinized by the very public officer who loathed the appointment and I who led the struggle became one of Adoke's adversaries obviously  for speaking up and speaking out against AGF's interest  – prize we pay for public interest advocacy.

SUNDAY 29 JANUARY 2017
TO Chief Olanipekun SAN
If one is green in the art of public interest advocacy campaigns you should have been humble to learn from one of your junior colleagues Ajie;  how we defeated  plots to sideline the appointment of the first female Chief Justice of Nigeria Hon. Justice Mariam Aloma Mukhtar, FoC.  The powers that be at the time when all the tricks in the books failed cos I was marking them with the energy of our intellect. I have in a glass frame the letter of appreciation Justice Mukhtar wrote to me as CJN signed herself 2012.

Mariam Mukhtar's situation was even worse a) a women b)she had no club or friends or group interest to speak out! c) she had no money  especially AGF Adoke SAN who was plotting to not let her be. d) Justice Dahiru whom she succeeded was actually subtly  working against Mukhtar’s emergence unlike the immediate past CJN Mahmud GCON who fully backed  Justice Onnoghen. So the odds were stacked up against Mariam Mukhtar and I took up the gauntlet  with pen and paper and the press nil funds. See you have just woken up in the 7th hour?

Jan almost gone.  We effectively have seven (7) working days to Feb 10th  to the three months period after Hon. Justice Onnoghen was appointed as acting Chief Justice of Nigeria. Seven days before you commenced your public interest advocacy campaign. Rule 1; in the case of Mariam Aloma Mukhtar I started seven (7) MONTHS before the end of tenure of her  Lordship’s predecessor.

You recall Governors tenure elongation public interest campaign I pioneered  2008-2012 when the Supreme Court vindicated me and you and a few Senior Advocates of Naira  took huge fees. I was working to promote our democracy FoC and you actually got President Jonathan to give you a national honours award that I earned. Now you see how smart to have waited for only 7 workings days in a situation where President Buhari is right now in UK until Feb 6th 2017.

US Professor Farroq Thumb PMB - PUNCH Sunday

You are a Roman Catholic am not saying you must be one you attend early morning mass at 6AM. You take Holy Communion.
By the way President Trump’s executive order which the court has just halted for those in transit or those already in US when the Order was signed a few days ago; the court said those citizens cannot be removed from US soil but  the Trump executive order still applies to others yet to travel it also applies for religious and gender based persecution.  Please click http://edition.cnn.com/2017/01/28/politics/text-of-trump-executive-order-nation-ban-refugees/

Now  you return  to snack on Two Apples a Day keeps you away from the Doctor and then go through your local newspapers and you read an associate  Professor based in US, a Nigerian who was an ardent supporter of Buhari thumbs PMB; he has granted interview published in the Punch newspaper today Sunday and guess what Prof.  Farroq Kperogi calls President Buhari many unprintable epithets. Click:
Before you click wait a minute you know how Americans critic (hard) on CNN right now a US Lawmaker calls President Trump “insane”.

Sixty US  Lawmakers refused to attend Trump’s inauguration “not my President” protest.
Most vibrant civil society, if Governor el rufai were American and he made the controversial statements in midst of mindless massacre, US citizens especially members of his own political party would have forced him to resign from office. Because they would argue those barbaric values do not represent us.

Lai Mohammed Stop Threatening Nigerians Over PMB Health Rumours!

In ten days President Buhari will return to Nigeria and continue with the work of governance. Lai Mohammed must stop worrying sick and threatening brimstone about  stories of Buhari’s health. I am not worried. On Feb 6th  PMB will take his presidential jet and fly into Abuja; we will wave Nigeria’s welcoming flag.

Therefore  Minister of Information you must withdraw forthwith those un-democratic  threats  issued against  our citizens whom you  want imprisoned for carrying rumours of Buhari’s death. IBB was a few times rumored dead; Yar Adua too when he was in office was actually rumoured a few times “dead”.

The government of the day didn’t threaten anyone. If you say right now Carol Ajie is dead; I have GSM learned colleague  will call  and once have listened still not convinced that CA has no intention of dying before 120 ( a hundred and twenty years) the age given by God. And After the phone call those still in doubt, I will could create adobe video which don’t lie about date or get on your favourite Channels TV live with a mug of green tea and lemon wedge and add a tablespoon full of honey and with probably a chocolate slice or cookies. Why don’t you take some of these hints and keep the doubting Thomases quiet rather than cursing and threatening Nigerians. We elect public officers to serve us.
Thank you!

President Buhari Tweets: Douses Health Situations

PMB has addressed Nigerians, he gives thumbs-up
to the Nigerian media. Thank you PMB unlike
President Trump in some cold war with some
US media. Now PMB in order to match
words tell the Nigerian Army to leave the
media alone. Arrest of Ms Evelyn Okakwu
and Premium Times publisher, her Boss,
on account of allegations of fake news
is NOT necessary in a true democracy.
Look, Trump with US media putrefying, yet
Trump or any US Government body would
NOT and has NOT arrested any media anchor.
The day a US journalist is harassed/arrested
Trump would face impeachment proceedings.
Jonathan has great democratic credentials
only those billionaires the Bello Adokes at the
expense of others should have to apologize.
Otherwise I suggest PMB should strive to
be like GEJ in kindly allowing FREE SPEECH!
Stop your men from harassing journalists.
If anyone publishes fake news, your
aides could write, countering it with facts.

PRESIDENT BUHARI MUST ADDRESS NIGERIAN CITIZENS NOW

Two posts below,  the rumours of PMB’s death by USANEWS and the other Messrs Adesina and Garba Shehu refuting the claim and someone comparing Jonathan’s visit to Obasanjo’s village on the day of Trump inauguration as a symbol of Jonathan’s insincerity . First of all I do not hold brief for  Jonathan because his regime made billionaires of the Adokes at my expense and at the expense of other  several honest lawyers  Adoke sat on legal fees. Adoke was amassing wealth and his colleagues were losing money to him such that some kids were sent out of school. Adoke’s conduct sent some to early graves.

Truth must be told however that  Jonathan never told anyone he was travelling to attend US presidential inauguration or had any contact with Donald Trump. If President Jonathan had  invitation card some of the congress men may have sent it to GEJ bearing in mind Jonathan’s  goodwill amongst Americans for relinquishing office voluntarily.

Someone wanted praise to Buhari over Gambia-Jammeh for demonstrating lack of mediation skills and  won’t listen to anyone; not even Sirleaf Johnson .  They should ask why hundreds of thousands of women in New York marched to protest Trump’s inauguration.  Trump’s sexiest comments. Not that the man actually harassed women on the basis of gender;  Ms Conway was Trump’s campaign manager.

To death rumors, the Holy books  said we should not wish anyone dead even those who look away while Shiites and southern Kaduna residents  were being slaughtered or  the Fulani herdsmen mischief. Speaking for myself Buhari’s anti-corruption war was fierce and that is a good thing  those untouchables standing trial for theft and money laundering. Buhari’s human rights record though is embarrassing.

Buhari’s economic policy is also as appalling for a country with youthful population. I just got out of church today very tired  from almost two hours of baby sitting a two year old  girl whose Mom  was with other children  so I helped out abit. Carrying Baby girl to  go and receive holy communion and kneeling in front of a Catholic priest with the child. Now the Baby wants to sit now she wants to stand now she wants my rosary now she takes my prayer book now she picks up my bible diary…  kids & attention.

Blaming Jonathan for our economic woes is ok but what of the solutions. I give you an example, I send my driver to take  diaries to my kid sister. Driver hands the diary to the wrong person. Driver gets a sack. What of my sister’s diary? Buhari is saying you know I have sacked the driver for failure to bring your diary sorry.  That z it?. Leadership doesn’t end there –  which is why US  President Trump is talking about repealing and replacing  OBAMACARE. Jonathan  been  removed from office with his economic policies. In nearly two years Buhari has shown no commitment to replace those policies.

We do not wish our country’s President dead but if he is alive in the face of the controversy of his death  let him speak sirs Adesina&Garba.  It is not a responsibility SAs media should undertake with all due respect. PMB must address Nigerians from wherever he is right now bearing in mind  the publisher USANEWS;  is a credible source. If it is true however Nigeria and Nigerians sure not to run into crisis as PMB hitherto ceded powers to VP albeit temporarily and pending return from medical leave.
Thank you.

GAMBIA: Midnight Truce Brokered By President of Mauritania

President Buhari Chief mediator appointed at ECOWAS meeting  he chaired in Abuja – make no mistake about it.  Had Mr President deployed skilled mediators Nigerians to help him deal with issues (complicated) we suggested weeks ago to PMB, the President of Mauritania  Aziz may not have taken credit for this.  Nigeria, great country rich human and natural resources.  They should stop killing us, Nigerians deliberately or accidentally; citizens are Nations’ greatest assets.

Whilst  President  Muhammadu Buhari was deploying  fighter jets,  and hundreds of soldiers to the Gambia,  one man, his Mauritanian counterpart President Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz deployed peaceful tools–mediation–dialogue–words not war – to avoid humanitarian catastrophes and refugees crisis, aggravated assault on women, children & vulnerable people.

Those who live by the sword could learn more about peace tools in a modern World moving away from swords to words.
Thanks
Good morning Nigeria
