Thurs 6/12/18 held that George Etomi's TCCP was a flop and members were fleeced
over conference fees not having received value for money. So the question why
then would Mr and Mrs Usoro reward the Etomis with 2018 sudden elevation into
NJC post-election?
The Usoros were the ones officially in charge of logistics for the 2018 NBA AGC. That indicts!

SAHARAREPORTERS ON MULTIPLE CORRUPTION ALLEGATIONS AGAINST USORO

Paul Usoro is set to preside over his first National Executive Committee meeting as President of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) on Thursday.
Usoro emerged NBA President in August following an election that one of his opponents said was characterised by “corruption, massive vote buying, vote capture, rigging and a skewed process”.
The NEC meeting comes two weeks after the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) narrated Usoro’s alleged role in how the sum of N1.7 billion was withdrawn from the Akwa Ibom State government’s accounts and diverted for personal use.
In a statement of defence filed before the Federal High Court in Uyo and seen by SaharaRepoters, the commission indicted Emmanuel Udom, Akwa Ibom State Governor; the Accountant General of the state, Uwem Sunday Andrew-Essien; Commissioner of Finance, Nsikan Linus Nkan; one Margeret Thompson Ukpe and a company, Paul Usoro & Co. EFCC: How N1.7 Billion Akwa Ibom Funds Were Diverted For Personal Use
In August, the anti-graft agency had placed a freeze order on all bank accounts controlled by the Akwa Ibom State government, leading to the filing of a N50 billion law suit against the commission by the Attorney General of Akwa Ibom State.
However, in its response, EFCC said it acted within the purview of its enactment act that empowers it to place a stop order on any account suspected to be involved in any crime. It said on March 10, 2016, the sum of N700 million was withdrawn in cash from the state’s Accountant General’s imprest account.
EFCC stated further: “That out of the said N700,000,000.00, the sum of N300,000,000.00 was deposited in cash to the Zenith account No. 1014604466 belonging to Paul Usoro & Co on the 14th of March, 2016 without any contractual relationship between Akwa Ibom State and the said Paul Usoro & Co.
“That the 1st defendant (EFCC) invited Paul Usoro (SAN) who volunteered extra judicial statement confessing that the said N300,000,000.00 was his professional fees for handling Mr. Udom Emmanuel’s personal matter before the election tribunal. That the remaining N400,000,000.00 was also diverted to private use.
“That in similar vein, the total sum of N1,100,000,000.00 was also removed from the Akwa Ibom State Ministry of Justice account No. 1011191486 domiciled in Zenith Bank Plc and lodged in the Paul Usoro & Co’s account number 0690123425 domiciled with Access Bank Plc without reasonable justification."
The anti-graft agency claimed that out of the N1.1 billion, Uwemedimo Thomas Nwoko received a kickback of N65million from Paul Usoro. See Also

The Akwa Ibom case is not the only bribery allegation against Usoro. In October, the National Judicial Council (NJC) asked President Muhammadu Buhari to dismiss two judges after they were investigated and found to be guilty of corruption allegations brought against them by the EFCC.
The affected judges were Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia of the Federal High Court and James Agbadu-Fishim of the National Industrial Court of Nigeria, who had been in the news for at least two years for allegedly receiving bribe from Usoro.
NBA’s NEC meeting holds on Thursday (arrival on Wednesday and departure on Friday) at the NBA Auditorium, NBA House, Plot 1101 Muhamadu Buhari Way, Cadastral Zone A00 Central Area, Abuja.
Attendance is restricted to only statutory NEC members, who are the national officers, past presidents, past general secretaries, branch chairmen, branch secretaries, branch NEC representatives, and chairmen and secretaries of sections.

ok; that 2 Governors had made anonymous pledges or donations. Still Obi was
adamant and poised to degrade the Priesthood of a Church he founded. He forgot
the symbol “Peter upon this Rock I shall build my Church” See Matthew 16:18., and
he is in copy of this email, H.E Peter Obi you let the Holy Church down.
You may model on Prof Yemi Osinbajo have you ever seen him argue
with his Church the Redeemed over similar subject or at all. Mbaka said speak
to the congregation what is your pledge even utter the words “I make an

Thousand Naira rather the Rock upon which our Church stands started
side-stepping.
You may wish to return to the people in Enugu invariably a very
Catholic place or you may kneel in front of a statue of our Lord wherever you

Elombah and the Guardian and Thisday newspaper senior journalists received from
me via Whatsapp, the reference number of the purported letter the NBA President
Usoro SAN had sent to me in October 2018 purported same to be a ref to an
imaginary letter he said the Federal Government wrote to him, and asked the
Nigerian Bar Association to nominate Lawyers into the Governing Council of the
National Human Rights Commission.
The Journalists distinctly
asked Mr Paul Usoro SAN on 080277772244 that he should let them see the
referenced letter and uptil now he has
not sent the fake letter with which he made fake offers to his professional
colleagues that FGN asked him to send names of lawyers for the reconstitution
or constitution of NHRC USOROS’ Sheer Scam. No such letter exists. It’s a deliberate
misrepresentation of the Federal Government of Nigeria for which Usoros are
criminally answerable.
That the President of NBA would
go to that level, Degenerate, let us choose another NBA President of course
after we had removed Usoros from NBA House. Meanwhile do not pay any money to
Usoros regime.

OF REMOVAL OF MR PAUL USORO SAN FROM THE OFFICE OF PRESIDENT OF NBA
BROUGHT
PURSUANT TO ARTICLE 2.3(i&j) of the NBA CONSTITUION 2015
WHEREAS:-
1.
On
Monday 20th August 2018, Mr Paul Usoro SAN was declared President of
the Nigerian Bar Association by the Electoral Committee of the Nigerian Bar
Association, ECNBA after a contested against other presidential candidates.
2.
Controversies
trailed the accreditation and e-voting processes, which led the NBA President
at the time A B Mahmoud SAN to appoint, with the approval of the National
Executive Committee (NEC) NBA and AGC in August, 2018 in NBA House, the firm of
KPMG to carry out forensic examinations in order to address allegations of
malpractices and irregularities connected to voters identity theft by way of
use of fraudulent email addresses hosted on malicious websites such as
firemail.cc, airmail.cc, and alleged fraudulent alteration and cloning of phone
numbers and interception of passwords.
3.
NEC-NBA
on Sunday 26th August 2018, resolved that the said Mr Paul Usoro’s
inauguration with the other National officers would nevertheless take place.
4.
One
of the Presidential candidates, Arthur Obi Okafor SAN approached the FCT High
Court Abuja to seek inter alia
verification of the election results and the matter has been referred by the
presiding Judge to arbitration/mediation to be commenced and concluded within
sixty(60) days from Monday 26th Nov., 2018.
5.
This
Motion for the removal of the NBA President Paul Usoro SAN has no bearing
whatsoever on the pending NBA election lawsuit and or arbitration/mediation or KPMG’s
audit, although Mr Usoro does appear to stultify the audit process.
6.
This
Motion arises out of his money laundering charges; Mr Paul Usoro SAN is being investigated for possible prosecution by
EFCC. During the NBA campaigns there were allegations of Usoros’ money
laundering activities with State actors with whom he connived to collect monies
from Akwa Ibom State Government coffers in the total sum of One Billion, Four
Hundred Million Naira in suspicious and fraudulent transactions as highlighted
by EFCC on Oath in Nov., 2018.
7.
On
the 25th July 2018, approximately four week to NBA e-voting, on
his Twitter account Mr Paul Usoro SAN stated before a public audience and NBA
Voters that he did not collect money from Akwa Ibom State Government account,
invariably chided Saharareporters who had queried Usoros professional conduct. When indeed and in fact in June 2018
in a statement signed by Mr Paul Usoro
he admitted to EFCC that the said sums were actually collected from Akwa Ibom
State Government coffers; Usoros lack of credibility and transparency
exhibited.
8.
EFCC
has filed court processes indicting the said Mr Paul Usoro SAN on account of
his money laundering activities as aforesaid and hence Mr Usoro will have to
exit the exalted office of the President to defend himself in pending
litigations.
TAKE NOTICE that on Wednesday 5th
December and/or Thursday 6th December 2018 at the hour of 9’0 Clock
in the forenoon or so soon thereafter as the business of NEC permits, NEC will
be prayed for the following Reliefs/Resolutions:-
1) Removing the said Mr Paul Usoro SAN
forthwith from the office of the President of NBA to prevent his further
scandalous activities that denigrate the learned and honourable profession and Noble
NBA.
2)
That the next most senior NBA National officer would take over the running of
NBA and conduct a bye-election for other Presidential contenders that is to say
in alphabetical order Ojukwu SAN and Okafor SAN.
TAKE
FURTHER NOTICE
that this is sequel to Article 2.3 of the NBA Constitution 2015, which says the
President will be removed by effluxion of time, upon resignation or removal by
NEC NBA on any reasonable cause. A Group of concerned Members of NBA by letter
dated 11th October 2018, having given President Paul Usoro SAN the
option of resignation within 14 days (of receipt of the said letter which was
delivered and stamped received on 12th October, 2018) on grounds of
allegations of bribing a Judge of the National Industrial Court Mr Justice James T Agbadu-Fishim who has post
Usoro’s inauguration, been recommended for dismissal on 4th October
2018 by the National Judicial Council(NJC) and has stopped sitting as a Judge
since 4/10/2018.

NBA WILL BENCHMARK THE GREED OF GREEN HORNS

Yesterday 26/11/2018 the NBA Election lawsuit came up. NBA
President Paul Usoro’s mandate would appear at risk in the face of allegations
of votes hijack and hacking of email addresses and phone numbers of voters and
ID theft of 1500 lawyers and the NBA ICT Partner is being investigated under
CYBER CRIMES Act by EFCC. All the materials used for the 2018 NBA Election that
brought the USOROS strangers to NBA CHAMS Plc have been impounded by EFCC and
useful statements made that might lead to prosecution of the ICT Partners and
the Chief beneficiaries of the rigged election USOROS NBA green horns.
Sirs you both had distinct candidates at the election OJUKWU and
OKAFOR respectively. Now is time to put all your differences aside and work towards
the goal of taking NBA from hackers. You
both used to work together until the Supremacy tussle. Don’t worry about who is
superior to the other, your Learned Children must inherit a Bar whose President
can speak for the voiceless. USOROS cardinal campaign pledge but he lost his
voice completely and sometimes hides in Facebook posts to speak such as the
post hereunder of the kidnap of the Secretary of NBA Ikole-Ekiti Branch Adeola
Adebayo. Since USORO was declared NBA President he has not issued one press
release. We gave him a template his complex
beclouded his vision.
The NBA Lawsuit has been moved to arbitration/mediation within
sixty days. I suggest as follows:
1.
There are three
presidential hopefuls USORO – Declared Winner, Okafor and Ojukwu the scores were
close assuming the votes were legitimate. Therefore the arbitration/mediation should
ask to split NEC and every committee and statutory bodies in 3. E.g. NJC NBA
has three nominees each party must name one each USORO one nominee that is Mrs
Efosa Etomi and OKAFOR one male nominee OJUKWU one male nominee. Usoros named
DODO SAN and Efosa Etomi he must de-select one. Between a male lawyer and a
female lawyer the male lawyer should be de-selected. That leaves NBA with two
slots because NJC is five nominees President Immediate past President +3 That
is why I make a case for Efosa Etomi even though she is like the Usoros Green
horn in NBA matters.

Every nomination hitherto
made by USORO particularly NJC has to go to NEC to authorize it particularly as
the the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria makes mandatory NEC
approval of nominations. Also to be filled are FJSC, CAC, NIPPS, NIMASA CLE,
LAC, BoB etc DO NOT GIVE UP NBA TO THE USOROS.
3.
Look at where the Usoros
are coming from NBA Zero to NBA Zenith Thanks to the AJIES, standing in front
of the Body of Benchers for the call to bar of the next generation of lawyers, ungrateful
to their benefactors. His foreboding mission is to change the face of NBA and
that includes yours.
4.
USOROS are GREEDY. You can understand greed over what you have worked for, BUT from
nowhere greed to control an association the USOROS know little of.
5. The USOROS' foreboding mission is
to change the face of the bar.
6.
Since the 31st
August 2018 NBA Presidential inauguration, there has been too many kidnappings and killings of
NBA State functionaries. This one in Ekiti State of the NBA Branch Secretary, is yet another too many and we
don’t know why our colleagues are disappearing under USOROS Presidency. THANK
