MR PRESIDENT OFF TO PARIS, AGAIN! ON FRIDAY?

In Nov 2015 Saharareporters critiqued President Buhari for his frequent foreign trips. At the time PMB had done 10 foreign trips within 181 days of being in office. The estacode for accompanying Presidency officials is $130K, transportation $55K, accommodation $270K, honorarium $10K, contingency 20K, media coverage $10K and
·       a separate budget for fueling the president’s fleet
·       a separate budget for the air fleet commander
·       a separate budget for presidential pilots and the air stewards.
·       A separate and secret budget for President Buhari’s estacode

Why our President who is fighting “kwaruption” and political opponents would not lead by example by disclosing and making public his estacode for each of these foreign trips leaves Nigerians wondering. Change for PM. He is upset because assets got into the hands of those whose communities and States produce Oil in commercial quantities, in the previous regime, our Petroleum Minister/President’s eyes on N-D Oil.
Reading this report in Daily Trust today Thursday 5th May, 2016 President Muhammadu Buhari is expected to sign the budget before he travels to France on Friday 6th May instant.

PMB to Paris this Friday,  his 2nd to Paris and 30th foreign trip in a year.  All of PMB’s trips un-accounted for. It has been estimated that each trip cost approximately $1M X30 for a country in dire straits whopping  $30M down the drain. Very embarrassing! A strange definition of transparency with all due respect President Buhari. Hence you won’t disclose what your regime claims, recovered from others. You know how many poor Nigerians $30million could lift from the doldrums? How many graduate youth PMB could empower? Some of those poor communities ravaged by Fulani Terrorists could be rebuilt with as little as $2m. Some Road work could be done rather than put it into profligate trips embarked upon primarily to introduce oneself to global leaders.
