MUTUAL AGREEMENT WITH NBA PRESIDENTIAL HOPEFULS

Rec’d a letter IV from Criminal Justice Reform Committee Chair to the Conference in Asaba in the next couple of days. The letter was signed by Arthur Obi Okafor SAN  Committee Chair, addresses me as “Mrs Carol Ajie”. Please Silk with humility you may address some learned colleague as

There are three presidential candidates SANs. You all have their names.

The fourth, do not under-estimate the youngest candidate Afam Osigwe a younger Lawyer but he is connected to past President Augustine Alegeh SAN who has yet purged himself of anti-gender contempt.

A few examples abide -  Lady Lawyer Iyon, should have supported her as Chair NBA Benin Branch. But Alegeh fiercely fought the Lady Lawyer in Benin his home base and REMOVED her from office prematurely+ reported her to the LPDC not for any professional misconduct sheer politics. She won the case against Mr Alegeh SAN.

Alegeh was within 2 weeks of becoming NBA President so adversarial to a female Chair of another section Mia Essien SAN of NBA Port Harcourt fame. He removed her abruptly arbitrarily and set out to attack NBA SBL Women.

Then the Learned Dame, Symbol of Justice was Alegeh’s pillar of support yet he fought her& lost all battles such as poaching on her Int’l client etc.

Therefore I cannot support Mr Alegeh’s kid brother by way of speaking Afam Osigwe ESQ he was NBA GS when Alegeh was President. They left office in 2016. If elected President Alegeh would have overbearing influence on him in re-enacting  those poor legacies of unorthodox attacks on women Lawyers and attacks on male lawyers too for critiquing him. Alegeh at NEC-NBA meeting threatened to set up committee on rape &kill. When it failed, they heinously sponsored rape & kill gangsters on Facebook.

NBA ELECTION 2018 OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT

All the presidential hopefuls have sought support individually. Committing oneself to a candidate’s cause best “mutually agreed” so that you don’t assist someone get elected who later turns out to be y/our NBA adversary. NBA Presidential hopeful who is prepared to remove the anti-gender elements from statutory bodies and NJC to send strange symbols of oppression Augustine  Alegeh to retire to Midwest region.
