Social Investment Program: DON'T Rely on Analogue Reporting Please!

Who is to blame Senator Mohammed Danjuma Goje former Governor, former Minister,  two term Senator according to Wikipedia link below;   distinguished citizens  of this great country are all on Wikipedia.

Senator Goje spoke the minds of majority Nigerians (70% poor) that the social investment program (SIP) has yet positively affected the lives of the poor. Both Mrs Maryam Uwais and Sen Goje are Great ABU Zaria Grads. Wikipedia puts Goje’s age at 66 years. If at 66 Senator Goje is internet savvy, so should Prof Osibanjo (61) and Maryam Uwais, Goje’s age group https://www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/264247-presidency-defends-social-investment-programmes-says-apc-senators-comment-irresponsible.html

Surprisingly, Mrs Uwais relied on analogue methods to submit random name of a beneficiary of SIP. This being deleterious practice must be discarded that our educated citizens, people with World view who ordinarily ought to be internet savvy collected whopping sum of N175Billion of Oil money for SIP and we have no information, no website indicating names of beneficiary verifiable or any at all.  SIP and analogue inquiry?. They don’t have functional website in the 21st century and they hold a public trust.  That is Indeed responsible?.  Read SIP Defence in its published statement today 7/4/2018:

While the Senator was claiming he knew no one from his state who has benefited from the SIP at a Senate Committee hearing, his colleague from Kogi State, distinguished Senator Atai Aidoko requested from the Special Adviser to the President on SIP, Mrs. Maryam Uwais, (who was before the Appropriations Committee) for a random name of a beneficiary from his state, called the number there and then and got positive confirmation from the beneficiary. That senator then formally announced the outcome of his random call to the entire senate hearing.
Inspite of the cash-trap, the presidency said the programme has benefitted many Nigerians. The statement listed some of the beneficiaries.”

Distinguished Senator Goje had said even if Mrs Uwais’ claims N175 Billion ONLY was received by SIP  since inception in 2016 and 2017 to date, at the Senate committee on Appropriation and SIP asks for more when there is no verified name/beneficiary even from Goje’s home State and so many other States, that the Senate IS NOT INCLINED TO APPROVING ANY MORE FUNDS UNTIL AN ACCOUNT HAS BEEN SUBMITTED AND PERHAPS AUDITED.  Here is the picture you collected Billions and there is no proof that you have judiciously applied it. Should Senate scrap SIP for lack of transparency in governance, Nigerians say SIP is unhelpful to President Buhari’s regime (who himself, PMB recently said he will overhaul it) SIP actually taunts the poverty of the poor that it is meant to assist; if the Senate is going to scrap it, Well then SIP’s Maryam Uwais did publicly admit the presence of stupendous scam in SIP.
