TODAY IS CORPUS CHRISTY: CARDINAL OKOGIE WARNS AGAINST HATE SPEECHES

Today is  Corpus Christi the solemn feast of the Eucharist.
If I were  a Muslim I would preach at Ramadan as we read here yesterday at  the annual lecture  of  Federal Minister Mohammed when he forbade Nigerians to desist from hate speeches..
Today’s Mass was celebrated in the three major Nigerian languages in this Order Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo. The Homily preaches peace, the gifts of God to humankind.  Justice and Peace are the Twin Pillars.
If you asked me considering that DSS has issued a statement today reported online, to keep the peace and charged youth to desist from issuing such illegal notices.  DSS actually addressed this now. http://tribuneonlineng.com/northern-youths-give-3-months-quit-notice-igbos/
Now because they heat up the system, tell the Northern youths to withdraw that quit notice forthwith. You must find them, they didn’t hide their ID. Alternatively  request Professor  Ango Abdullahi who had  publicly endorsed the illegal quit notice to get them to withdraw it and sign an undertaking to keep the peace.  DSS do not look away,  our corporate existence was threatened by  the North a couple of days ago hence Nigerians reacted.  Look South South take the South East as its immediate neighbour.
Once that is done ie withdrawal of the three months’ notice to quit, ask the Niger Delta Youth to also withdraw the quit notice issued to the  North, consequent  upon the Northern youth’s quit notice.
Justice is a fair Lady.  Before some may  mis-apply it, the word fair means equity, neutrality, honesty.
Thank you
CA
