Something as
simple as phone call or text message should be acknowledged at the earliest opportunity.
Not so for Ernest Ojukwu SAN former Chair EBF. The screenshots of the
Whatsapp messages are posted in the link hereunder, as incontrovertibly
reported by online publisher.
On Saturday
25th August 2018, Ernest Ojukwu wrote on Facebook quote:
“NBA
Election: Paul Usoro did not call me. My attention was last night (about 8pm 24th
Aug 2018) drawn to a widely published story about a letter from Paul Usoro SAN
to me. In that letter Paul stated that he called me on 23rd August
2018 and that I didn’t take his call. I state categorically that Paul did not
call me on 23rd or any other date….”.
Teacher went
on to disclose Paul Usoro’s two phone numbers as if there was a dispute over
ownership of PU’s phone numbers, MTN and Airtel lines. Teacher failed to
acknowledge the simple truth that he had read or seen Paul Usoro’s Whatsapp
message until yesterday when our NBA President-elect Paul Usoro SAN, released
the screenshots of his Whatsapp messages written in the most amiable tone
to EO. Usoro asked after Teacher’s amiable spouse and children in an African
setting of amity. Rather than reply to the Whatsapp text Teacher turns to his
Facebook to misrepresent Paul Usoro his own Brother and some of Teacher’s
ex-students, not minding they were addressing their intellectual
superior, used poor language to launch undeserved scurrilous attacks against
Paul Usoro SAN as Teacher looked on and savored it. Shame!
Recall the
Legend Fela’s song “Teacher Don’t Teach me nonsense.”
Teacher owes
his readers apology for his deliberate act of misrepresentation in our public
space.
