Clerics Pray for Buhari as Bishops Pray With Atiku: Religion and Politics May Meet

Three days ago whilst President Obasanjo was receiving Atiku and his team,   some men of God viz  Dr Bishop Kukuh  and Oyedepo were present. Was it a co-incidence, maybe. However Brother FK has frowned at the visit and asked that the men of God should direct their followers to God not Politics.

Simultaneously,  Bros you may have observed that a group of clerics had declared 40 days prayers for Buhari’s re-election,  same time. Do we chide them for praying? Nope. Anyone is at liberty to pray for whosoever they wish Atiku, Buhari, Donald Duke, Dr  (Mrs) Ezekwesili, Prof Moghalu,  Mr Sowore.

Recall that it was at a prayer ground Rev Father Mbaka said the Dove named Jonathan couldn’t fly in 2015 and he saw another  flying in 2015 soaring and  when the General eventually won, Fr Mbaka was invited to Aso Villa for a hand shake with Buhari.  Some members of Team Buhari also paid a thank you visit to Mbaka’s adoration arena.  Although early in 2018 Rev Fr Mbaka made some anti-Buhari predictions    http://sunnewsonline.com/mbaka-to-buhari-god-said-you-shouldnt-run-in-2019/

Should the current political landscape affect religiosity?  Does Buhari or Atiku’s religious beliefs drive their politics?. I think Atiku is perceived as generally more bi-religious & tolerant and that is something going for him. We may wish to discuss the intersection between politics and religion, another time.
Good evening
