She is 17 and he is 18 and they
are both in love and ought to be inseparable – Festus Keyamo 1/3/2016
That summarizes a text on
Little Miss Ese and Abductor Yinusa.
We have seen the photograph
of Miss Ese on Facebook, Linkedin Google Blogs, newspapers Punch Vanguard and Thisday and so on. A young
man Yinusa (a.ka. Yellow) 18? Should have
a photograph. Doesn’t it surprise you he doesn’t have a photograph? No member of the reading public has sighted
Yinusa’s photograph, much more a photograph of two lovers? If you have post it!
Hey guys for those who were
in Tertiary Institutions not JSS3 Ese’s older Brother said she was in JSS3 last
year and was 13 when this ugly incident occurred and she is 14 now and her parents
say she is 14. They have now disrupted her school. Does it sound right? Don’t encourage any child to drop out of
school and why didn’t any of us drop out of school. Why are we lawyers and
journalists and professionals and civil society leaders?.
2. As I was saying, we have seen photos of people in love, they are
called love nests, they hold hands, they hug, they kiss, they snap photos, they
tell their siblings and friends they are in love.
Why are these so-called ‘lovers’
different?.
Look that Baby girl comes
from a disciplined background. Her older brother says she reads biblical verses
even to him and members of their family and friends, she preaches to her peers,
a Scripture Union. She like every kid
entitled to human rights child rights – right to education to her fullest potential
and no one is allowed to cut short a child’s career for licentiousness. Just as
one of your brilliant daughters. Stone age mentality of disrupting girl child
education must stop! Her brother was
asked?
What kind of person is your younger sister? He enthused: “….a chorister
in the church….preaching and praying. She used to preach to me and my friends.
All those things they are saying she said are not true; they are manipulations
by those people. I am sad about all of this. I just want my sister back home.”
Protect the Girl
Child.
