AFAM’S LAWSUIT:  FAKE OR FACTUAL?

On Wednesday  11^th July, 2018 he posted on his Facebook Wall that he ‘had to take the difficult decision of instituting an action against  the NBA..’ – Mr Afam Osuigwe’s words. 

 On Thursday 12^th July instant,  I read his post and asked for the minutest details such as suit number, the COURT he allegedly instituted it and the reliefs sought. He wasn't my presidential hopeful anyway. I mean I couldn’t  endorse one who in conjunction with Alegeh sponsored gang rape online  against Lawyers  who disagreed with them DISGUSTING, utterly unprofessional. Propensity for violence is not part of our ethics and laws, Sirs.  

Dr  Odinkalu,  human rights lawyer, shouldn’t  your learned friend respect gender rights.   I couldn’t  have  stood bye to watch the most egregious  infraction by people who should know better without taking exception to Afam’s candidature at our NBA election into the most exalted office.  I had perceived that Afam Osuigwe was desperate to return to NBA House to continue with their notorious policy against peace and security of our women. 

Always bear in mind the phrase, “women’s rights are human rights”  imbedded in a speech by Hillary Clinton as the First Lady of the United States in Sept., 1995 at the UN Conference on Women in Beijing.  Clinton had used the phrase within the bidirectional  posture:  “human rights are women’s rights and women’s rights are human rights” and the phrase has come to stay in the human rights community. 

As I was saying up and till now the Osuigwes have not disclosed where the suit was instituted. Maybe it takes this long to provide simple information. When he wrote to NBA to protest his disqualification, he shared the exact content of his NBA correspondence on his Facebook. NOW please do respect the rule not to comment on his pending litigation unless they are saying Afam’s lawsuit is Fake or Fictitious?.
