Friday 1st July 2016
Dear Colleagues,
Deadline for
accreditation is today Friday 1st July 2016 midnight.
The indefatigable Secretary
of NBA Lagos premier branch at his utmost best working to see to a successful
accreditation process so that members in branches spread across cities and
counties be not unfairly disenfranchised.
Now I ask Messrs Afam and Alegeh the intention is real some of the mistakes made ludicrous suggests a
deliberate act on the part of the regime to mislead voters and shortchange the
system. Otherwise why is the name Caroline Nonyelum Ajie whose email address caroloajie@yahoo.com is known to all and sundry and NBA
has it on file why was a strange email address concocted for her known as
xxxxxxx@dcl.com.ng I am not a Washington DC based Attorney for Christ sakes!
Yet another riddle Mrs
Adekoya a long standing bar person system says her GSM invalid; a number known
to all national officers. Then you want to amend your profile to reflect your correct GSM and email and the system
won’t let you. I have appealed to our senses of professionalism that myIBA
profile does not work like that.
Make no mistake about it AB
Mahmoud campaigns built on his hard won integrity hence the integrity of this
historic e-voting by 'universal suffrage' be not compromised for JKGadzama or ABMahmoud.
We the campaign
pioneers of e-voting/one-lawyer-one-vote did not spend long years for
our electoral rules to be changed from delegates system to a general
e-election
for a cabal to hijack it. We will build NBA electoral system on
credibility.
Those who spent fortunes on bribes from Ekiti to Edo; Bauchi to Borno,
Kafancha
to Kano; Zamfara to Zaria should know that the era of a rigged system is
over!
Best,
Carole Ajie

Dear Seniors/Colleagues,
I hope this meets you well.
The
last time I wrote to you, I tried my hands at poetry but I have since
learn't that poetry is not for everyone, so today I go straight to the
point.
It's that time in the NBA where if it
were in football, the old, wily fox Sir, Alex Ferguson will call
"squeaky bum time" whilst he strutted his stuff at old trafford.
Put
simply, it is crunch time, the NBA elections are here and the much
heralded E-voting and Universal Suffrage is to be put to test.
The
NBA sure wants this pilot test to be a huge success even as campaigns
are at fever pitch as the candidates in the forthcoming elections
continue to sell their vision across the length and breadth of the
nation.
The election is scheduled to hold on the 23rd and 24th of July, 2016 as you are well aware.
The
Annual General Conference of the NBA slated for the 19th to 26th of
August, 2016 in Port-Harcourt is also of concern to members. Please note
that registration has started on that front too.
You will find useful information on the Election and AGC below.
