WOMEN IN NBA, OKAFOR LAWSUIT, USORO FIGHTS ABM WHAT IF MAHMOUD FIGHTS USORO NBA PRESIDENT?

Distinguished Colleagues,

Senator Onyeabor Obi sent me a message on Facebook wall which is an open message for all.  The distinguished Senator said Mrs P.O Kuye and Mrs H A Balogun 1963 alright but of the 2nd set of 1963. Thanks.
Someone else, certainly not Senator Onyeabor Obi, someone wants me to respond to their question that how come Mrs HA Balogun and Mrs Kuye were General Secretary and President of NBA if the NBA men were not or are not disposed to voting for women for the top posts.

Carol Ajie’s Response.
In Mrs H A Balogun’s time, in the 80’s I wasn’t there but everyone who was there including Mrs Balogun said some male candidates expressed interest to serve as NBA GS at the same time as she did. Meaning you had 3 or 4 candidates with Mrs H A Balogun. So some senior male lawyers, reached out to their male colleagues to allow Hairat Balogun  take the office of G.S non-contest or if you would prefer consensual. We don’t know if the male co-contestants were offered other positions in NBA. Anyways, they heeded and allowed her take the GS position.

Mrs P.O Kuye – Rose to become President of NBA.
Mrs Kuye was elected to a position that was much less visible third Vice President and she went up to second Vice President and up to First Vice President and President. In all of these steps there were vacancies.
Then the election was called in Port Harcourt for all the offices from President to second assistant national secretary. At the time I was four years at the bar in the early 90’s  and I filed nomination for second national assistant secretary. Mrs Kuye filed nomination for President. Alhaji Bashir Dalhatu filed nomination for President. The election was botched as a result of the Port Harcourt debacle and NBA went into a comatose for six years. Soon after the PH botched NBA AGC, I wrote as a candidate who had participated at the election that was botched to Chief FRA Willaims SAN/Body of Benchers to mediate the disputes and bring NBA back to activity. That was how my humble self initiated the long peace process that eventually resuscitated the NBA in 1998 with T J Okpoko SAN elected as NBA President.

Chief F.R.A wrote to me in response to my letter, FRA signed the letter requesting me to brief the Body of Benchers over the debacle and if you ask Chief T.J Okpoko SAN, and/or Prof Ben Nwabueze SAN, they were at the Body of Benchers in that gigantic law office in  Ilupeju Lagos when I gave a synopsis that preceded peace the Doyen Chaired.

Recall that Mrs H A Balogun was the first female Chair Body of Benchers.  It was Chief FRA Williams SAN after Mrs Balogun lost the election into the office of NBA President, FRA nominated her to become the 1st female Chair Body of Benchers & rewarded the efforts.

Ask Mrs Balogun FRA didn’t demand or take any bribe to nominate her. So it should come strange that a President of NBA is corrupt. If the election that brought you to office of NBA President is corrupt.
We have just been informed that EFCC commenced and completed its investigation of NBA ICT Partner,  Chams Plc investigation conducted under the Cyber Crime Act of the 2018 NBA Presidential Election, etc.

VERIFICATION OF VOTES:
The law suit instituted by one of the NBA Presidential candidates came up on Tuesday 13th Nov., 2018 and has been adjourned to two weeks time. It is an originating summons and now that the Usoros are fighting Mahmoud over McArthur Foundation Funds if Prof Yadudu EC NBA Chair, should file an affidavit to say sorry EC NBA did not verify the election result,  and yields to Applicant’s relief that the NBA should verify the results under court supervision, Prof Yadudu was actually  once quoted prior to this time, that he did not verify the results; if some of the respondents should put those facts in affidavit and file in the pending lawsuit won’t Usoro be sent packing out of NBA House as soon as before Christmas. He is antagonizing everyone who helped him, he will antagonize anyone else! Usoro-ingrate!
