As a Buhari supporter and a lover of Nigeria, I agree that it is time for the President to buckle up and address the issues raised in this article. Nigerians are beginning you run out of patience.

"The ongoing revelations of the shoddy, fraudulent and incompetently prepared 2016 national budget is the latest in a long list of misdemeanors over which Nigerians would have been prepared to hang the former president but have been patient with PMB because of their faith in his personal integrity and his undoubted desire to pull this country out of the woods... I am not raising these points to imply that the president is corrupt or provide the ammunition to those who are determined to see the president fail because of his anti-corruption war, far from that...Most of the corrupt officials and political appointees put in the place by the GEJ government that almost bankrupted Nigeria are still occupying their positions. Why was the wife of Bode-George still the acting D-G of a sensitive federal agency like the NDLEA until today? Why is NAFDAC still headed by the corrupt protégé of a corrupt former Attorney General? It is not like they are career officers who got to their position on merit. Hundreds of federal agencies critical to the economy of this country and the anti-corruption fight continue to be under the control of GEJ appointed corrupt PDP stalwarts. How difficult is it to find competent Nigerians to staff critical government agencies and institutions?" After going through your hypocrisy-ridden piece, I came to the following conclusions:
1.You have discovered that APC sold fake product to you instead of the original.
      2. You are afraid to state the obvious that Buhari has failed Nigerians going by the above assertions.
      3. You ended up creating the bad impression that the corruption Buhari claimed to be fighting has a different dictionary meaning from the monumental fraud and mindboggling scandals going under his watch as epitomised by 2016 Budget of Corruption.
      4. You made Nigerians understand that APC only wanted power at all cost, that is why you are more interested in getting GEJ appointees sacked to create jobs for political jobbers than Buhari's government getting his acts together.
It is now obvious that Buhari and APC were not prepared for governance. Corruption cannot fight corruption.
If you want to say the truth, never you hesitate saying it with boldness and courage. Call a spade by its name--a spade! APC has proved to be more clueless and corrupt than the people they are accusing of corruption. Buhari should start his anti-graft war from his appointees--he spent six months looking. Change my foot!

The sooner he addresses the issue the better for him because if this honeymoon ends he might not like the reaction of Nigerians and by then he might start being more dictatorial to keep things in check but will only end up making the situation worse.

Where were all these snails turned hares (rabbits) from 1999 to 2015? That was 16 long years!
All of a sudden the snails want to out run hares now. Let those running out of patience jump into the Atlantic ocean.

        Aboki Nuhu...
Nigerians made a statement by voting out the governments of PDP from 1999 to 2015 thus, expect a change in the way and manner things were done then and now. What sense does it make to keep shielding a blundering old aboki whose government so far has not shown any serious signs in any direction? This author covered everything wrong with this administration and truth should be embraced rather than abused. It is arid almajiri sycophants like you who misled a sick old man into running for president while he was in retirement, you and your poorly educated arid lot will and cannot stop critical thinkers from making valid observations and citicizing a clearly rudderless leadership. You were nowhere to be referenced during the fight for "changi" while this author contributed immensely to the change we now have... shut up dia and go back to your suya spot if you have nothing meaningful to contribute to national discourse. It is idiots like you who should jump into two lakes for lacking basic skills in the usage of the almajiri education Nigerians paid for. Buhari is a fraud and only an illiterate like you cannot see him for what he truly is. Stupid you!

Thanks Nuhu, those who fed fat on lies and outright falsehood, have suddenly realized their misadventure.N5,000 was promised each un employed person.Boko Haram will be decimated by December 2015.Naira will be at par with the dollar-$1 equals N1.These same people swallowed it hook, line and sinker undermining the train drivers pedigree, and echoing an illusionary "Change".Haven shouted themselves hoarse, they suddenly realized that a vulture cannot automatically metamorphose into an eagle simply by preying on chicken.Previously ,Nigeria has done well with $12 billion budget.Under Mr Change,Nigeria is budgeting $30 billion, and infact it needs be padded. All Nigerians have in compensation for their support of the " Change "mantra is increased electricity tariff, even with a declining supply and generation.Intractable Fuel scarcity, escalating Boko Haram mayhem, renewed Niger Delta crisis-bombing of pipelines, reinvigorated campaign for self determination by Biafra, bad roads and a looming lassa fever epidemic.Add that to NLC's strike action and a little propaganda as salt, start a fight with the judiciary by desecrating the sacrosant rule of law,and threaten supreme court justices with jail.Let it steam for a while, and you will definitely get a sweet pot of " Change" .

You have said the truth, but Nigerians deserve all the answers they need to make good decisions about the people that represent them.

PMB should realize that PDP was merely dislodged from the Presidency. They then disappeared into the judiciary and civil service from where they continue with their usual practice of giving confounding judgment and padding the budget. The sooner he realizes this and cleans up these two the better for him and consequently us.

But what hypocrisy is this? A govt that has bungled most of its actions since inception yet we think the head of the govt is not to be blamed but the "people he surrounds himself with".
I think there is something wrong wit this country's way of thinking. From every leader I have known elected, selected or by coup. We have Amway exonerated the head and blame those that were appointed.
Buhari has no skills to govern pure and simple hence he surrounds himself with unofficial decision makers from his tribe. He agitated for power for the sake of his tribe. But he never reckoned that Nigeria of 211st century is not same as the previous years. Its global. When we fumble as is happening the whole world knows.
Please investigate if you doubt but the decision makers of this unfortunate govt are not those constitutionally empowered to do so but a coterie of tribesmen from his section of the country.
And running around the world spewing incoherent statements will not safe him. He must come back to the debacle he created.
And for those who blindedly foisted him on this nation your ides of March is around the corner.

THIS GUY LIKES AND TRUSTS YOU
When you like and trust comebody, you have often to ask tough questions.
Please Mr. President, read this and read it very well.
Therein lies the integrity of your regime.
It's mostly not about you, but about the fact that you have a team mired in 16 years of filth and mindless extortion on the pocket and psyche of Nigerians.
That budgetary inflation was a height of betrayal and it is time to let your enemies know that you can be
    'RUTHLESS, MERCILESS AND UNFORGIVING'
when people decide to allow the dirt in their lives to smear your beloved legendary reputation for probity.
Civil servants handling your budget do this because that is what they do and have always done.
Consequences have to be at a premium for it to stop.
If not, you will continue to suffer humiliation where your trust that people would do their job is buried under accusation of incompetence and lack of oversight ability on your part.
YOU ARE MUCH BETTER THAN THIS, SIR.

Why do you think PMB can analyse and understand and implement what the author has written?Again, are you realizing now that you are putting too much expectation on PMB and that PMB effectively hoodwinked you all? The reality is that people who claim they support PMB dont want to be shamed by accepting the reality that the man they trusted is grossly incapable and not supposed to be so trusted! The fact is that PMB was lucky bc those who voted him into office simply used it as a way to punish GEJ. Nigerians should have looked beyond GEJ and Buhari. PMB has never had the capacity and competence to rule this nation. Nigerians only succumbed to his intimidation to set Nigeria ablaze if not voted. And Nigerians hugely erred by foolishly accepting that PMB was the only ''Mr Integrity'' to rule Nigeria. Therefore lets not complain too much. So PMB should courageously continue to display the gut to us ''you can go to hell afterall you can get any other Nigeria that can match me''.

An excellent article. The budget is a disgrace. A friend forwarded it to me the other day, and when I read it I was flabbergasted. How can Buhari have approved such a budget for heavens sake? All the money going to Aso Rock? The government must think that we are imbeciles. They should not try our patience or we will throw them out at the next election. I think the problem is two fold: I still believe PMB is a principled man but he is not in control, and age is not on his side. His administration is too slow. If you recall the interview he gave to the press recently, he was asked about corruption at NASS. His answer was "if it is true that they are spending XYZ then we need to look at that." Excuse me? "If it is true"? That means he has not got a grip on what is happening in Nigeria, let alone in his own government. This article is a comprehensive write up that addresses all my concerns about the direction of this administration.

Difference between A Non-graduate and a Graduate or With WAEC certificate holder and Non-WAEC certificate holder. Don't worry Nigerians He Still have 3 long year or even more to tell you the difference between "Process" and "Miracle". This movie is just starting!!!!

It looks as though Aso Rock is a money pit. Nigerians want to know when the Presidential Fleet will be downsized too. Buhari needs to come clean on his assets and explain this budget, or fix it

    I've always felt that a government should be given some time before criticism, but the blunders by this government threatens taking the country into the abyss, Blunders such as;
    1. 5 months to form a cabinet
    2. CBN Naira policy that will cripple the economy
    3. 2016 budget with a borrowing requirement estimated to be greater than $10 billion - already Nigeria is canvassing lenders for $3.5 billion to borrow
    4. Lack of tact by Buhari - insulting Nigerians internationally and calling them criminals
The only plus side is his fight on corruption but if that is all he can offer, then its not enough for my support. The difference between two returned military rulers OBJ and Buhari is that OBJ educated himself in the interim before his return. It appears that Buhari's Knowledge has not improved one iota since he was ejected from office in 1984, and he is going to make the same economic mistakes. I'm still optimistic that he would listen to advice on the economy an area where his knowledge is lacking.

The president must concentrate on providing power to boost industry. He must concentrate on education (mostly primary and 2ndery). He must concentrate on job creation. If he focuses on this, he'll get somewhere. If it's hard for you sir, then get the best advisers. Whatever the government is doing about fighting corruption should continue but Buhari should follow the author's advice about the judiciary. Nigerians should realize that NO PRESIDENT IS A SUPERMAN IN ANY COUNTRY. Leaders don't wave magic wands. All they have to do is to get the relevant sectors working. Anti corruption is good but it doesn't necessarily create wealth in any country. Manufacturing DOES.

    @Ilesanmi Omabomi... RESPECT!
A brilliant article that covered every facet of what is wrong with this administration. We who fought on the frontlines for "changi" from the entrenched corrupt PDP style of government were very disappointed with President Buhari after he failed to publicly declare his assets as promised; failed to reduce the presidential fleet of 12jets; failed to appoint competent and credible people of integrity as ministers... even his trumpeted war against corruption is more of propaganda than a substantive battle for real recovery of our looted common wealth. This article is a must read for those at the presidency and serious supporters of change so that we continue to harp of the needful rather than Mr. Buhari's tactless act of moving bad food around the plate to the joyous chorus of, "Sai Baba" by sycophants and the gullible. It is not too late to make corrections and reset the agenda for "changi" by getting rid of persons in this government who have shown themselves as incompetent, corrupt or incorrigible... like President Buhari's incompetent Economic Team, all corrupt DG's appointed into sensitive positions by Dumbo... other arms of government, the bloated Legislature and very corrupt Judiciary. President Buhari is "scientifically corrupt" man if he fails to make urgent reversals and get serious with the serious business of governing Nigeria. Shikena!

Many Nigerians are presently blinded by the euphoria of an exaggerated anti-corruption effort so when they complain the administration will make a big headline with a high profile politician or member of the GEJ administration arrested and in handcuffs, that usually douses the flame or they will make a big news of shooting to death some unarmed Igbo Biafran agitators, the usual sacrificial lambs that unite other groups. BUT in reality the Buhari administration is a stand-still government,it has not made any significant change of direction in every facet of governance and Nigerians keep hoping that tomorrow will make the difference but it seems that "tomorrow never comes" ,it is time to demand answers for today !!

I must confess that I am thrilled with this article despite the fact that the writer is a pro- Buhari but he likes PMB more than the people surrounding him who are giving him the impression that Nigerians will always or continue to swallow the bitter pills all because they believe APC is still clearing the PDPs mess... PMB has to be less "Slow and Steady" because Nigerians are never patient... If they are patient, they would have stayed with GEJ because as bad as GEJ govt was, we could still see some of his good sides.. I pray for my country everyday but it seems my leaders don't want the prayers to come to reality... The budget is such a mess that nobody can ever imagine... PDPs budget wasn't even this bad.. As a matter of urgency, PMB needs to overhaul his Economic team, as so far, we can't see any Smart person in that team.. It is well with my country..
